About Torn Ticket II

Find Out About Us

Torn Ticket II is Tufts University’s only student-run musical theatre organization. Every show we produce is student-directed, student-produced, student-acted, with an entirely student production staff.

Torn Ticket II produces a variety of shows each semester, often including some larger productions, and some smaller ones. Recent productions include musicals as various as Chicago, Mamma Mia!, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Sweeney Todd, Blood Brothers, Heathers, Pippin, Assassins, Fly by Night, Little Shop of Horrors, and Urinetown. Along with one Aidekman slot production, Torn Ticket II also stages a campus slot production each semester. In addition, Torn Ticket puts on an Orientation Show, an annual small-scale musical put on by upperclassmen during freshman orientation, as a way of welcoming the newest members of the Tufts community. We also host a themed cabaret fundraiser, Over the Rainbow, once a semester, open to anyone!
